Benchmark

The Benchmark is a place for experimentation, where AccuStudio facilitates problem solving. Check out the experiments in progress:

AR4sysMark Info CLICK HERE to Download Built on top of the AR3sysMark benchmark, the new AR4sysMark has been improved to test the latest systems. A short AutoCAD lisp program which puts AccuRender 4 through it paces. It's quick to run - only a few minutes - and by submitting the results we all get a great resource.

Hot Topic:

Here are the AR3sysMark results as a graphic showing Rendering Efficiency during rendering. These results represent only AutoCAD-based installations of AccuRender, and may not be representative of the performance differences in Rhino- or Revit-based installations. The Rendering Efficiency relates the processor's clock speed to the rendering time, and a higher number is more efficient. From this initial data, Athlons are more efficient than Pentiums in AutoCAD-based AccuRender workstations.

Retired experiments:

AR3sysMark accustudio is testing as many workstations as possible to work out what makes AccuRender fly! We've invented the AR3sysMark benchmark to help us - a short AutoCAD lisp program which puts AccuRender through it paces. It's quick to run - only a few minutes - and by submitting the results we all get a great resource.

AR3GLmark With your help we are ranking the performance of video cards in AccuRender 3 using a video card benchmark we created called the AR3GLmark. It measures, as purely as possible, the OpenGL speed of the Walkabout Window by preview rendering an animation path.

Newsflash

This really isn't a new area for AccuStudio, just a new name. We have renamed the Forum to the Workshop. Since 1999, the Forum has been the area for tutorial, tips & trick and other exchange of information. In the near future AccuStudio will be hosting a true Forum for online duscussions. But you say there is already the newsgroups, with so much overlap in nXt this will be a great place to discuss modeling, rendering and almost anything within reason.
